About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the social and emotional development of children within our specialist provision. We believe that building strong, trusting relationships is essential to creating a nurturing and safe environment for our students. Your role will involve using restorative practices to help children overcome challenges, manage their behaviour, and foster a positive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work closely with students to support their behavioural, emotional, and academic development.
* Use restorative approaches to resolve conflicts and encourage positive behaviour.
* Build empathy and trust with students to create a supportive learning environment.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement individualised learning plans.
* Assist in managing behaviour and supporting children with complex SEMH needs.

* A recent graduate or someone with experience working with children with SEMH and behavioural needs.
* Passion for using restorative practices to support young people.
