Purpose
To support the preparation of the monthly management accounts accurately and on time, with a focus on opex, reporting to Finance Manager.
About The Role
Duties
* Assist with preparing monthly management accounts to agreed deadline.
* Responsibility for the accounting of certain P&L lines and entities and presenting these results to Finance Manager.
* Prepare meaningful commentaries on monthly variance analysis.
* Support Assistant Management Accountant as required.
* Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices.
* Assist with Balance Sheet reviews and reporting as required.
* Support the project team with implementation of new system through end-user testing, ensuring that internal control processes remain robust.
* Support the annual budget process.
Skills And Experience
* Fully qualified or almost qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Strong excel spreadsheet skills.
* Use of SAGE accounting system preferred but not essential.
* Proactive approach to resolving queries.
* Strong collaborative style.
* Experience of working in industry & commerce.
