Position: Child Residential Worker
Location: Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs in a residential setting? If you're dedicated to providing care, guidance, and a nurturing environment, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Child Residential Worker.
Key Duties:
1. Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people in a residential home setting.
2. Help individuals with PMLD, complex medical needs, and autism to achieve their personal goals.
3. Promote a positive, inclusive environment that fosters respect and equality.
4. Encourage independence while offering emotional and practical support.
5. Engage in activities, outings, and routines to help develop social and life skills.
6. Assist with personal care and participate in physical intervention when necessary.

11. Are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of young people.
12. Have excellent communication skills, particularly in supporting those with specific communication needs.
13. Hold a Level 2 qualification in Maths and English (or equivalent).
14. Are willing to work towards further qualifications, fully funded by us.
