About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and innovative Maths lessons to students across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. The role involves:
1. Planning and delivering a high standard of lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
2. Assessing and monitoring student progress, ensuring they achieve their potential.
3. Inspiring a love for Mathematics through creative and effective teaching methods.
4. Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Hold a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
2. Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
3. Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience desirable).
4. Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
5. Be passionate about teaching, with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
