Our client seeks to appoint a Continuous Improvement Engineer who has completed an accredited engineering qualification. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of CI/Lean manufacturing techniques and a record of successfully implementing them in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This role would suit a multi-faceted engineer currently working as a Process Engineer, Production Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer looking for a step up in their career.
CI Engineer – Role and Responsibilities
1. Identify and implement improvement projects to reduce cost whilst increasing output.
2. Review and make improvements to standard processes and operating procedures. Specific focus on spotting bottlenecks in production lines, reducing process times, and eliminating scrap material/waste.
3. Excellent understanding of lean and continuous improvement activities.
4. Evaluate suggested CAPEX projects and take the lead on equipment purchasing and factory layout.
5. CAD design where required.
CI Engineer – Skills and Abilities
1. Degree / HND qualified in Engineering.
2. Competent all-rounder with knowledge of design, maintenance, supply chain, projects, and production/process engineering.
3. Previous experience of continuous improvement methodologies and at least two years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineer/Production Engineer style role.
4. Excellent lean and continuous improvement knowledge.
