Care Worker Job Description
As a Sure Care Professional Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need. Your main responsibility will be to assist with activities of daily living, ensuring the well-being, Dignity, Respect Wellbeing and comfort of our clients.

In this role, you will work closely with people who may have Complex physical or intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, or chronic illnesses.
You will provide assistance with personal hygiene, medication administration, meal preparation, and transportation. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote their independence and overall well-being within their preferred Environment.
Responsibilities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including dressing, grooming, and bathing
• Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
• Prepare nutritious meals and ensure clients' dietary needs are met
• Provide companionship and engage clients in activities that promote physical and mental well-being
• Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings
• Monitor clients' health status and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring proper infection control practices are followed
Requirements
• NVQ 2 or willing to work towards
• Previous experience in a similar caregiving role is preferred but not essential
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centred care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes or appointments is desired but noe essential
