Are you ready to lead a dynamic team of system and maintenance technicians? As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the engineering infrastructure at our Southern Hub & Heathrow Service Centre, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team of 12 engineers, including two supervisors.
2. Ensure the highest levels of maintenance for equipment to meet critical customer cut-off times, while managing tight time and cost controls.
3. Develop and implement engineering support planning, covering resource allocation, holiday, and sickness cover.
4. Maintain compliance with Health & Safety standards and ensure effective risk management strategies are in place.
5. Oversee relationships with key equipment suppliers and service providers to enhance performance and cost savings.
6. Drive innovative technical solutions to improve equipment performance and contribute to revenue generation.

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Minimum 2-3 years of engineering management experience in parcel handling or FMCG/manufacturing desirable.
2. Strong technical competency in automation, with knowledge of current legislation and maintenance best practices.
3. Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably MAXIMO.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
6. Likely to be a member of a professional body, such as IEE or IMECHE.

2. Business acumen with an understanding of wider DHL processes.
3. Ability to lead through periods of rapid change and integration.
