About the job and your team
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment availability throughout the plant and facilitating excellent communication between maintenance, other departments, sister companies, and suppliers. Additionally, you will support the team with improvements and initiatives, focusing on re-engineering solutions, repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
You will work on
* Ensuring that all Health, Safety and Environmental rules are adhered to and maintained across the department. Actively participating in solving cases relating to risk assessment actions, risk engineering recommendations, and general IFE’s, all documented in the IMS system.
* Planning and monitoring contractors working in maintenance duties.
* Managing your team on a daily basis to include staff welfare, training, absence management, communication, performance management, and upskilling of your team.
* Identifying, planning, and executing re-engineering solutions focused on continuous improvements working with the different production departments.
* Planning and organizing Capital Expenditure Projects.
* Ensuring equipment inspections are carried out according to the group recommendations/expectations and all legal requirements are met.
* Implementing and controlling spare parts procedure and strategy.
* Ensuring the preventive maintenance plan is updated and executed, by ensuring tasks are completed and all resources are in place.
* Adhering to the maintenance budget assigned by the business plan.
* Preparing and planning all maintenance shutdown activities.
* Designing the weekly preventive plans together with the team in alignment with production requirements.
* Analyzing press stops with IMPEX and amending preventive plans accordingly and keeping the production line stops below the set target.

Your qualifications and skills
* Technical proficiency : Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
* Problem-solving abilities : Quickly diagnosing issues and implementing effective solutions.
* Leadership and team management : Leading and motivating a team of maintenance staff for 5 years +.
* Communication skills : Facilitating clear communication between departments and external partners.
* Organizational skills : Managing schedules, budgets, and maintenance records efficiently.
* Attention to detail : Ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard.
* Safety awareness : Prioritizing safety protocols and procedures.
