Job Duties:
* Develop and implement strategies to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to create Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Provide guidance and training to school staff on SEN best practises
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of SEN students and adjust support as needed
* Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to SEN provision
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* SENCO Award
* Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and lead SEN initiatives
* Good organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in SEN or related field
* Experience in conducting SEN assessments and writing reports
Working Conditions:
* Work primarily within a school environment
* Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work required
* May involve travel to attend meetings and training sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
