Healthcare Science Manager for Infection Science
Salary: 8B
Applicants are invited from suitably experienced and motivated individuals to fill the role of Healthcare Science Manager for Infection Sciences. Our ideal candidate will have wide experience in a science environment with experience of working in a large organisation at a senior level. You will be a team player but also an independent operational manager with a high degree of strategic and creative thinking.
Infection Sciences in NHS Lothian includes Microbiology, Virology and Scottish National Microbiology Reference Laboratories. This complex laboratory portfolio extends across two sites in NHS Lothian. Services are provided on a regional and national level to other boards.
This post is a senior member of the Directorate of Laboratory Medicine management team.
This is an extremely challenging post with a wide remit and will often cross cover and tackle additional projects within Laboratory Medicine as part of routine working in a rapidly changing and complex environment.
