Engineering Specialism ? Move into Underwriting?
This is an excellent opening to work a large global insurance group, to specialise within the engineering underwriting space. In an ideal world this would suit an advanced Assistant Underwriter with an engineering degree stepping up into an underwriter capacity. However, this client would also be interested to hear from civil engineering/mechanical engineering graduates who have perhaps worked in industry - could be tunneling, petrochemicals, construction, mining. Alternatively you could have a claims/surveying, risk management or engineering safety background? The important aspect is the academic background with industry experience.
There is a strong team of established underwriters already in the division so training will be provided. If you have an interest in working within a diverse engineering underwriting platform across a significantly wide remit do get in touch.
