The Role:
As an Account Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing and developing our small to medium-sized customer base. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, fostering loyalty, and driving retention. With a keen eye for upselling opportunities, you’ll ensure our clients maximise their experience with Unity5 by understanding their needs and recommending tailored solutions.
By developing deep connections and aligning client goals with Unity5’s offerings, you’ll directly contribute to the company’s broader growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
* Serve as the main point of contact for assigned client accounts, addressing all non-support-related queries.
* Build and maintain productive relationships to drive client loyalty and retention.
* Develop account plans for larger clients, outlining commercial goals, actionable activities, and potential blockers.
* Identify upselling opportunities and collaborate with the Customer Success Manager for optimal solutions.
* Conduct regular client check-ins to review account performance and explore growth opportunities.
* Set realistic client expectations regarding product development by sharing current roadmaps and functionality.
* Support and promote the annual client user group, encouraging high participation and running engaging sessions.
Commercial
* Ensure compliance with customer contracts, meeting SLAs and fulfilling obligations.
* Analyse commercial data for your account base to identify successes, risks, or revenue-impacting issues.
* Proactively manage upselling opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
* Record and track deals in HubSpot, ensuring opportunities are accurately reported.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work with the Implementation team post go-live to understand customer use cases and growth opportunities.
* Partner with the Customer Success team to solve complex customer challenges and share best practices.
* Monitor client support cases with the Unity5 Support team, addressing escalations as needed.
* Collaborate with Marketing to create impactful case studies highlighting client success and business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Experience in customer-facing roles, ideally in account management.
* Results-driven, with a strong commercial focus.
* Analytical mindset, with a passion for metrics and data-driven results.
* Organised and structured approach to managing customer relationships.
* Proficiency with business IT tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack) and CRM systems (preferably HubSpot).
* Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with Unity5’s platforms and the ability to simplify technical concepts for clients.
* Knowledge of regulations and practices within the parking sector, enabling credibility in client discussions.
