We are seeking a skilled and motivated Measurement and Reporting Practice Implementation Lead to join our CDIO Planning & Performance team on a six-month contract with HMRC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and standardise measurement and reporting procedures within the organisation, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
CDIO Planning & Performance is an arm of Finance, Portfolio, Performance & Organisation Transformation group that provide Performance Management metrics across CDIO and customer centred Business Planning.
We are accountable for;-
* Delivery of Performance Reporting to ExCom, Chief Finance Officer, CDIO Director General & CDIO Leadership Team
* Drive Performance Improvement by identifying successes, replicating this in other CDIO directorates, whilst ensuring we support areas where performance is not going so well to prevent reoccurrence.
* Provide Performance analysis to Excom, CDIO QBRs & Performance Boards
* Shape & scope the Measuring & Reporting practice, setting the strategic direction for future CDIO reporting.
* Act as the accountable conduit between FSP & CDIO to develop and track the delivery of our Commitments, Business Plan and CDIOs contribution to the HMRC Annual Report.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and standardise measurement and reporting procedures within the organisation.
* Integrate tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
* Create stakeholder maps to improve communication and collaboration.
* Propose governance changes to align with best practices and organisational objectives.
* Lead the development and validation of practice metrics.
* Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless implementation of measurement and reporting practices.
* Provide oversight of practice delivery to maintain high standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights and recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong experience in developing and implementing measurement and reporting frameworks.
* Expertise in stakeholder management and cross-department collaboration.
* Proven ability to propose and implement governance improvements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Experience working with the ITIL 4 framework or alternative best practices.
