We have an opportunity for a Die Tooling Engineer to work as part of a team on the new model introductions together with providing technical support to Die Maintenance and Press. Salary: £48,000 Key Responsibilities: Project lead the introductions of new model die trials Support new model diel trials with multi-national teams Conceptualise, develop and create new die processes from customer CAD models Project lead and support the manufacture of hot and cold new model dies and develop and implement production improvement processes Assess and drive company and departmental KPI improvements in relation, but not restricted to, reducing downtime and improving tooling efficiencies Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures are adhered to ensure a safe working environment Skills / Experience /Qualifications: NVQ Level 4 qualification in Tool, Die and Mould or Mechanical Engineering or Die Maintenance Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills Knowledge of Die/Press process and operations is essential The ability to troubleshoot, problem solve and resolve technical problems relating to Press tooling A good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures What can we offer you?
