The role:
* To provide effective leadership and management of a team of people to support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs for services in West Cumbria.
* To coach, mentor, and motivate your staff team, creating a positive culture where everyone can achieve their best.
* Develop & implement care and support plans and be knowledgeable about all safeguarding issues.
* Offer excellent communication skills and encourage people to be innovative in their thinking and work to share ideas and support decision-making.
* Observe and assess staff performance and competencies.
* Liaise with the HR team and adhere to legislative and contractual requirements.
* Adhere to the core values within the organisation, creating a positive, person-centred, and inclusive approach.

* Excellent communication and team-playing skills.

* Level 5 Leadership & Management or willingness to complete this.

* Flexible to work on a rota basis and for on-call duties as needed.
