Role: 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff

Salary: £85 - £100 Per day dependent on experience and qualifications
We are looking for a full time 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff to support in a SEN Secondary School based in Baldock starting in January 2025. Please see details below
This school are dedicated to providing excellent education and support for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Job Duties:
* Supporting class Senior LSA’s and Teachers with the preparation of resources to meet the personalised learning intentions of allocated students.
* Providing 1:1 support under the supervision of the class Teacher for the delivery of skills-based learning.
* Work closely with class Teacher to report on progress using an evidence-based approach
* To enable students to learn by; understanding their learning goals and targets; enable them to practice and learn new skills and challenge them to be as independent as possible
* To be involved in the provision of all aspects of support necessary that will ensure the students wellbeing and ability to function and engage in learning.
* To understand and fully implement Safeguarding policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of GCSE qualifications in English and Maths.
Experience:
Prior experience working in a similar role within an educational setting would be ideal but not necessary. This role comes with additional responsibilities to that of a 1:1 Behavioural Support Staff.

* Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently
* Prioritisation skills to handle multiple responsibilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
