We have a new opportunity for an ambitious Risk and Compliance Lawyer to join a Leading UK Law Firm. They are looking for a knowledgeable qualified individual to join their well-established team in Birmingham.
In this role, you’ll be working as a part of a friendly and supportive team, within a firm that truly has flexible working. Anyone interested in an almost entirely remote working pattern should read on!
Those experienced with managing client and supplier contract review processes would excel in this position.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain internal policies and procedures
* Support fee-earning teams within their compliance and regulatory responsibilities
* Oversee conflict escalations and queries
* Provide firm-wide training for new joiners alongside refreshers as needed for existing staff
* Aid in internal investigations and SRA engagement
* Assist in annual audit-related requirements and tasks
* Provide support to Senior Compliance professionals where necessary
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and accreditation processes
This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic approach to prioritising complex tasks. Excellent communication and organisational skills are key, with a commitment to personal and departmental growth being desirable.
