Reporting to – Lead Business Analyst / Banking SME
We are now recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join our Product team, working within our Cards & Banking domains, in an exciting, fast-moving, and rewarding environment, within Edenred PayTech.
Our Senior Business Analysts work with a team of specialist Technical Business Analysts, and with our Lead Business Analyst, you will be collaborating with Engineering, Product Managers, SMEs, and our business stakeholders to gain a full understanding of business requirements, performing GAP analysis, and supporting functional and non-functional requirements for development and QA teams.
A background within the Payments, Banking, or Fintech industry would be highly advantageous, and coming from a technical background (QA, Development, IT Operations) would also lend itself well, as you will be working within highly technical environments.
What you will be doing:
1. Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Product Managers, and Business Stakeholders to analyse new features, fixing or optimising existing elements, and operational improvements including security, monitoring, and visibility into the health and behavior of the domain.
2. Assisting Product Managers in prioritizing workstreams.
3. Analysing and capturing both internal and external requirements and documenting them in a clear and concise manner.
4. Proposing and agreeing on solutions based on best practice and adhering to the rules and regulations of all countries involved.
5. Evaluating business and technical solution proposals and designs to ensure they meet business requirements.
6. Identifying the potential impacts of changes to existing systems, organization, partners, and clients.
7. Employing structured business analysis techniques when problem-solving and eliciting requirements.
8. Facilitating workshops and product walkthroughs with Clients and Business stakeholders.
9. Refining user stories with the Product Manager, Business stakeholders, engineering, and wider Business Analyst team.
10. Collaborating with the Test/QA team to ensure test scripts are in line with acceptance criteria of user stories.
11. Producing supporting documentation around processes and static content to support API/Integration documentation, internal or external as required.
12. Collaborating with the IT development team both onshore and offshore to maximize the value of end products, features, and solutions.
13. Building and maintaining relationships with new and current stakeholders across the organization, IT Development, and 3rd Parties.

10. Experience interacting with development teams both onshore and offshore on a day-to-day basis in an Agile environment.
11. SQL to retrieve data from databases.
12. Fundamentals of software development lifecycles.
13. Spanish, Portuguese, or French speaking.
14. Experience in the payments, banking, or financial services.
15. Story writing in BDD.
16. Experience working within an agile environment.
17. System integration concepts such as REST APIs, webhooks, etc.
18. Project tools like JIRA, visualization tools like PowerPoint, Visio, or similar.
