Main duties of the job
What you will be responsible for :
* Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of gynaecological complaints/ conditions or a willingness to learn.
* Delivering and maintaining high standards of nursing practice and promoting the philosophy of patient and family centred care.
* To be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of plans of care, ensuring high standards of evidence-based care, using a defined model/ care pathway in conjunction with senior staff.
* To undertake all nursing procedures in accordance with Trust Policies and ensure these procedures and policies are understood and adhered to.
* To communicate with patients and significant others with empathy and reassurance regarding assessment, care and treatment aiming towards a user centred care approach.
* To maintain accurate and comprehensive nursing records using appropriate documentation in accordance with the NMC recommendations and Trust guidelines.

Job Title: -Registered Gynaecology Nurse
Trust: West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Pay Rates: -£17.69 to £28.30 Per hour
What you'll need:
* Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Gynaecology for at least 3 years.
* Registered with NMC
*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

Person Specification
Experience
* A minimum of 6 months paid experience on a busy Gynaecology ward.
* Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current practices.
* In addition to experience, all Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of
* Statement of NMC Registration
* Degree /Diploma in Nursing
