This is a new and exciting opportunity within the Local Authority.
The role is based within Merthyr Tydfil’s Supporting Change Team. The role will engage families in time limited intensive packages of support to assist families in making positive sustainable change.
The service is committed to strengthening resilience within this service area with the aim of preventing entries to Local Authority care and strengthening support for children and young people when there is an opportunity to safely reunify them with their families.
Applicants should ideally have skills and experience in therapeutically orientated work and take the lead with projects with partner agencies that relate to Children remaining safely at home.
You will be required to provide evidence of all qualifications specified as essential.
Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
