An opportunity has arisen to work for this well known shipowner within their claims and insurance department. You will be involved in assisting the claims department in the daily handling of a variety of claims across all insurance markets such as P&I, FD&D and H&M claims.
1. Being point of contact and case holder for claims stemming from the clients owned fleet with a key focus on crew and cargo claims from inception to completion
2. Maintaining all claim related documentation including liaising with other parties regarding outstanding documentation
3. Liaising with all third parties regarding any claims and general queries
4. Liaising with internal departments to ensure that all claims processes are adhered to whilst issuing monthly reports, updating the status of finance / claims reconciliation
The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated and possess strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Applications are invited from candidates with current experience within a marine / claims or insurance environment.
