The Role
The Major Projects Sales Manager will cover the Scotland region, focusing on large construction projects requiring complex temporary works solutions. You will sell a market-leading range of below-ground solutions, including trench shoring boxes, sheeting, extraction equipment, and more, on a hire basis to Main Contractors & Civil Engineering firms involved in major projects.
This region offers significant growth potential, reflected in a bonus structure based on 1% of all sales turnover, uncapped, providing substantial earning opportunities. Your primary goal will be to establish and maintain high-level relationships with Contractors and Engineering firms, ensuring they prefer your services for every major project.
Support & Resources
You will benefit from a strong back-office support team, including an in-house Design team for quick quotes, a marketing team, and Hire Controllers at regional depots to support equipment delivery. Scottish depots offer market-leading equipment, excellent availability, and installation services where competitors may not.

Our client is a market leader with the largest stockholding of products in the UK and a dedicated national installation team. They invest heavily in training and internal promotions and recently partnered with another industry leader to become the largest temporary works and shoring hire company in the UK.
Candidate Requirements
* Field sales experience within the construction sector, especially with major projects
* Proven success in new business development and account management
* Experience selling technical or design-led construction solutions in below-ground applications
* Full & Clean Driving Licence
* Experience selling directly to end users at site and board levels, e.g., Contractors
Salary & Benefits
Up to £55,000 basic salary DOE, with uncapped OTE (first-year target £15k, currently tracking at £15k commission), company car (hybrid options), 25 days plus statutory holidays, 10% pension contribution (with 5% from employee), healthcare, and PMI.
