Stock Control/ Security - ensuring stock is kept safe and secure during storage.
- Inventory levels - maintaining a comfortable level of stock to ensure plenty of stock for day to day jobs and for storm response but ensure excess stock is kept to a minimum.
- Material Transaction Accuracy - Transacting materials against jobs to ensure stock levels are accurate to stores system and jobs are costed correctly.
- Weekly Site Checks - Weekly facilities checks ensure we keep our environment safe and in turn ourselves and colleagues safe.
- Waste returns - ensuring correct disposal is imperative to meet our ISO standards and meet our recycling targets.
A track record of safety, service and efficiency, along with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to convey complex messages in an easy to understand manner will be useful, and your organisation skills will be of a very high standard. In addition, you'll have a keen eye for detail and good analysis skills and be able to apply rigour to compliance with policy and procedure.
- You will be confident to engage with colleagues across the business, including more senior Managers and our operational teams.
- You will be confident with IT, including various Microsoft packages, and an understanding of how to build SharePoint sites would be advantageous.
- You will have strong experience in Stores and Materials handling, Automatic Stock Replenishment, Minimum/ Maximum stock levels
