We are seeking a passionate and creative Marketing & Communications Officer to join our small, busy team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will play a vital role in promoting the hospice's work and engaging local communities to support our initiatives.
Our Marketing & Communications Team plays a crucial role in promoting our clinical services and maximising income-generating opportunities through effective press, PR, digital marketing, supporter database administration, and graphic design.
We’re looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years Marketing experience and has an A-Level English qualification or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute towards delivery and maintenance of a calendar of marketing activities, in-line with hospice objectives.
* Manage and create content for social media platforms to engage and inform our audience.
* Produce error-free, creative copy for various communication channels, including newsletters, websites, and promotional materials.
* Build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, demonstrating confidence and enthusiasm.
* Prioritise tasks effectively, ensuring efficient use of time.
* Generate innovative ideas and implement plans to achieve targeted outcomes.

This is a fixed term position for 18 months.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week ¦ Monday - Friday (30 hours a week / flexible working considered)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 FTE per annum (Depending on knowledge, skills and experience)
