Our client, a well-established international membership organisation, has a wonderful opportunity for a adaptable and confident individual to join them as a Events and Training Assistant within their Training and Events team! You will play a key role in providing support with the delivery of events and training courses for both online and fin person events. This is a great role for someone looking to build upon their IT literacy experience, and work within a diverse and busy events program within a trade association. Due to the nature of this position, it is based on site full time with negotiation of hybrid working after the probation period.
Duties in this role will include:
* Assisting and coordinating committee meeting logistics – e.g. liaising with venues, collating dietary requirements and dietary requirements
* Prepare student enrolments and registrations, coordinating student administration, assisting with technical issues and queries
* Liaising with team to prepare relevant content for internal and external presentations, events and conferences
* Organising marketing and event materials e.g. ID badges, exam papers feedback forms
* Scheduling and providing assistance for upcoming exams within the organisation, ensuring all resources are prepared accordingly
* First point of contact for training logistics, such as upcoming reminders, records and administrative exam logistics are in order
* General ad hoc administration and coordination support to wider team as needed
The ideal candidate will:
* Experience working within the events sector, dealing with training logistics and administrative support
* Be highly organised and able to prioritise as needed, excellent attention to detail, excellent multitasking abilities
* Have a high level of IT literacy and able to learn internal systems quickly, experience with Learning Management Systems is high desirable
* Experience providing support with digital learning/instructional design projects, and content creation tools
* A minimum of 6+ months office-based experience essential
