Career Teachers are currently recruiting qualified Music Teachers to start January 2025.
We are looking to appoint passionate and dedicated Music Teachers who are ideally looking for long-term work and available to start January 2025 or sooner, to meet the high demand for our schools. We work with a wide variety of Secondary Schools in the Derby and Derbyshire area.
You will need to be resourceful and innovative in your teaching approach and be able to teach all aspects of Music at key stage 3 to 4 with a good track record of teaching and learning outcomes. The additional experience of teaching at KS5 would be advantageous but not essential.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in Music or related field.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Experience in teaching Music at key stage 3 and 4.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Passionate and dedicated to teaching and learning.
* Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
* Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training.
* Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
