ABOUT THE ROLE
My client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor who doesn’t mind getting stuck in and turning their hand to anything that comes their way. Your traditional duties will involve appraising tender documents and preparing estimates as necessary, pricing of Bills of Quantities including build costs, preliminaries, and fees as well as measuring and pricing accurate complete cost plans. The initial scheme you will work on is valued at £20M and the project entails working on a very busy train line, delivering the OLE & P-way packages.
REQUIREMENTS
It’s not essential but it is preferred that you are degree qualified in a Quantity Surveyor course. It is however paramount that you have experience of managing projects valued over £10M, within the rail and infrastructure sector. My client is looking for a professional who has worked as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for at least 1 year and holds stability in their employment.

For this permanent opportunity, the salary has been left negotiable as the specifics will depend on previous experience and suitability however successful professionals could expect to target a basic salary anywhere from £65,000 – £75,000.
