Your new role
1. Contribute possible solutions to operational problems, providing guidance on the selection and progress of appropriate solutions.
2. Agree daily performance targets with the Engineering Supervisor and Engineering Manager.
3. Maintain accurate records and files of all site machinery and equipment.
4. Ensure all processes and online equipment is in a safe, serviceable condition. Analyse breakdown repairs and make rmendations for equipment upgrades, improvements, or replacements.
5. Assist in line changeovers to suit production requirements.
6. Position and install new factory equipment where and when required.
7. Reposition and install existing factory equipment to suit production needs.
8. Assist outside contractors, service andmissioning engineers as required.
9. Carry out daily pre-production checks.
10. Fill in daily work reports and downtime sheets.
11. Stand in for the Engineering Supervisor in his absence.
12. Shift pattern: 4 on / 4off (2x days, 2x nights)
What you'll need to succeed
13. Five years’ experience in an engineering leadership position, ideally within Food Manufacturing or FMCG.
14. Demonstrable experience of leading a team of at least five.
15. prehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering techniques
16. Knowledge of process control systems and industrial electronics.
17. mitment to the development of your own skills and those of the team.
