What you will do in your working day
* To work effectively in the Enforcement Team, liaising appropriately with staff and other customers, meeting deadlines, following supervisor’s instructions.
* To assist with carrying out administration duties including but not limited to; photocopying, typing, answering the telephone, filing, data input, sending emails/letters as appropriate.
* Inputting, updating and retrieval of information stored within appropriate databases, excel and any other system(s) used by the service.
* To use all the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Internet, and Email), effectively to produce documents as required.
* To maintain and update appropriate documentation, records, and information as required, and be trained on the various Parking Team systems.
* To use office equipment effectively such as photocopiers, telephone systems and computer equipment etc.
* To update and record information accurately into electronic/manual records.
The training you will be getting
Business administrator level 3:
* The apprentice wil attend Redcar College every other Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* You wil be qualified in Business Administration and may wish to pursue a role in this area. You will have access to apply for internal council vacancies.
