You will be a key point of contact for patients throughout their care. We have a number of career opportunities for both newly qualified and experienced registrants who hold an NMC and are passionate about delivering high quality, patient centered care in a friendly professional setting.
Main duties of the job
There will be opportunities for rotations across Community Hospitals and Acute hospitals to develop and enhance your clinical experience and skills as well as continued professional development opportunities through our in-house practice development programme and external academic courses within universities.
The post holder will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care. In addition to working collaboratively and co-operatively with other members of the team, the post holder will be motivated to meet the needs of patients and their families and develop valuable relationships.
Clinically, you'll be supported to become competent in connecting and disconnecting parental nutrition and receive training to maintain infection control at all times. You will empower patients to feel comfortable in managing their own care (where possible). You will liaise with your team to share ideas on best practices.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
