Role Summary
This role demands a balanced approach to managing both contentious and non-contentious matters. The successful candidate will manage their own client base and caseloads with responsibilities that include:
* Providing day-to-day employment law advice on both contentious and non-contentious issues
* Managing day-to-day client relationships and providing tailored advice to meet client needs
* Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, employee handbooks, and day-to-day documents such as disciplinary invites and outcome letters
* Advising on TUPE, redundancy, discrimination, unfair dismissal, and other employment matters
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor or Lawyer (CILEx) with experience in Employment Law, particularly in managing employment tribunal litigation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
* Capable of managing a diverse workload and meeting deadlines
* Team-oriented, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote or hybrid setting
