Job overview
This role involves working in a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to deliver a range of evidence-based interventions supporting adults with Eating Disorders.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the provision of psychological therapy within the service, including specialist assessment and formulation, and provision of psychological interventions.
2. Contribute to risk assessment and safety planning for service users.
3. Engage with carers/families/relatives, developing and maintaining supportive relationships.
4. Contribute to service development and deliver teaching and training as necessary.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology accredited by the BPS.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Eligibility for Chartered Status with the BPS.
Experience
* Experience of working with adults accessing psychological services.
* Experience with individuals facing complex mental health difficulties.
* Experience working with families and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Experience with a variety of service user groups, employing complex methods of assessment and intervention.
Skills
* Complex psychological assessment skills and care planning.
* Ability to develop comprehensive formulations using various information sources.
* Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
* Proficiency in keyboard skills and use of technology.
