We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for three passionate Teaching Assistants to join a supportive Catholic Primary School in Pudsey, LS28. These part-time roles are due to start in January 2025 and will initially be on a fixed-term contract until August 2025, to meet the needs of the school.
You will become part of a vibrant school community focused on providing high-quality education underpinned by strong Catholic values. The successful candidates will work closely with pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs, offering 1:1 support across the EYFS and KS1 curriculum to foster confidence, independence, and resilience in a variety of subjects.
Competitive rates of pay are offered, up to £100 per day, depending on experience.
Ideal candidates:
- Demonstrate a warm, friendly, and empathetic approach.
- Possess excellent English, maths, and communication skills.
- Understand how individual children learn to support rapid progress.
- Be committed to high standards of attainment and behaviour.
- Work effectively as part of a skilled team, including collaborating with outside agencies.
- Have an interest in developing the skills necessary for initial teacher training.
- Be a practising Catholic or supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
Essential qualifications and experience:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and a passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or a willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK (please note, we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship).
