T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Project Engineer to join our client in Moira, Swadlincote on a Permanent basis. As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for interpretation and changes required to customer supplied info, drawing up tooling, fixturing and making changes where required. Progression toward helping to manage current projects and then to managing new projects bringing them into production within the business and helping to identify cost-saving measures. Project Engineer Benefits; £25,000 - £30,000 per annum with additional scope for the right candidate Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm 33 days holiday including bank holidays Monthly bonus scheme Company pension scheme Friendly working environment Free on-site Car parking Project Engineer Job Details; Conducting feasibility studies for new projects Preparing quotations Sourcing new suppliers and subcontractors Controlling and managing projects Liaising with Production and Quality teams Designing tooling, fixtures and components Use the Companies 3D Design software to produce the engineering drawings Extract information from customer drawings to prepare internal drawings Create BOMs and routes ready for the components to be manufactured Ensure that relevant drawings and information are available for other departments to facilitate the production of required parts To ensure that all work / tasks / procedures / documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001 Solving problems and improving processes Working on planning, budgeting, and logistics Completing initial component measurement Project Engineer Person Specification; Knowledge of basic engineering principles and procedures Ability to read engineering drawings (knowledge of GD&T), perform basic manual, and machine measurements Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs Good knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) with willingness to learn and improve skills Engineering Qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly team, so for more information please contact T&K Associates today.
