Teaching Personnel are working with a large secondary school located in Waterlooville, catering to students aged 11 to 16, offering a wide range of subjects. The school has a substantial campus with over 11 buildings, including specialised blocks for different subjects such as mathematics, science, design technology, and music. The school has a reputation for providing fantastic support to both pupils and staff which is evidenced in their most recent Ofsted inspection during November 2024. ‘Quality of education’ and ‘Behaviour and attitudes’ were graded ‘GOOD’ with ‘Personal development’ and ‘Leadership and management’ graded ‘OUTSTANDING’. The school are seeking a teacher of Business Studies to join the department from 10th February 2025, on a full time, temporary to permanent basis. Required to teach predominantly across KS4, the appointed educator will be required to take on full teaching responsibilities and will be prepared to teach a variety of different courses across the department including IT. This post would suit an experienced Business Studies teacher or an ECT. For ECT’s, the school offer tailored programs within a supportive environment but also offer comprehensive support to staff returning to the profession or those seeking a career change. The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified teacher with QTS or an ECT. Have a strong passion for Business Studies and/or Computing and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. Be committed to fostering curiosity and a love for learning among students. Have excellent organisational and communication skills to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
