HVAC Service Director: A High-Level Technical Position
A salary of £100,000 - £110,000 plus car allowance is offered for this role.
We are seeking a technically qualified individual with experience as a Director, either electrically, mechanically or air conditioning.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of running a service division and working closely with the Business Development/Sales team from a board level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor planned preventative maintenance schedules through your management team and assist in forward planning of property maintenance.
* E nsure compliance with all statutory requirements and companies' policies and standards through the senior leadership team.
* Ensure proper financial and contractual management in all areas, including liaison with accounts, input to capital and revenue forecasts for project spend.
* Manage technical/engineering contracts and project works ensuring financial and contractual integrity.
* Review occupier proposals for alterations working alongside the Building Surveyors.
* Liaise with project management staff within their appointed external consultants to ensure smooth handover of projects into the managed portfolio.
* Maintain services at optimum energy efficiency and strive for continuous improvement.
* Provide full technical support service to internal departments.
* Support construction and development teams during transition to management where applicable.
* Ensure suitable training is provided to all technical staff.
* Manage property records ensuring latest versions are uploaded to the relevant portal.
* Support customers with technical queries, applications and issues delivering excellent customer service levels at all times.
* Nurture positive relationships with occupiers ensuring they understand building operations and maintenance responsibilities.
* Monitor and plan for property maintenance needs.
