A day in the life of…
* Reporting in to The Director of Sales you will use your proactive sales skills to work closely with meeting, events, and food and beverage teams to generate new business and build long-term relationships, with a focus on driving events at our destination restaurant, Novelli at City Quays and outdoor terrace
* You’ll have Input into the hotel's commercial plan. Working with our industry leading brand sales initiatives and tools, you’ll identify and contract new customers for all areas of the business.
* Utilising social selling, you’ll research potential new accounts with a view to building strong relationships with local businesses and the community to drive profitability
* You’ll have the chance to be the face of the hotel, engaging with large groups and leading show-arounds, whilst being on hand to proactively recognise warm leads in the hotel
* Engaging with the knowledgeable Aimbridge EMEA commercial team for corporate, meetings & events, you’ll ensure maximum benefit from brand managed accounts, marketing programmes, and initiatives.
What do we need from you?
* Proven sales management experience in a team environment, with a strong commercial outlook and negotiation skills.
* You’ll have excellent presentation, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills, ready to be the face of the hotel
* Self-motivated, driven, ready to build on you existing knowledge of the local and wider UK market to create long and lasting business relationships
* Willingness to travel, report writing skills, ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and open to new ideas.
* You’ll be Proficient in PMS, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office tools, with excellent written and verbal English.
