Sales Director (individual contributor) London/Nottingham (Hybrid/Remote) £100k-£110k basic, double OTE We are partnering with the UK’s most successful independent e-commerce development company who are looking for an experienced enterprise salesperson to develop new business within the UK and expand Worldwide. The business has developed several highly successful technologies that are used by some of the UK’s leading retailers enabling substantial growth via e-commerce, warehouse management systems, endless aisle and ERP functionality. They are now seeking a senior salesperson to build on their success and achieve their growth objectives. As Sales Director, you will have the opportunity to leverage your breadth of experience selling into major retailers and knowledge of the e-commerce industry to create and win new business opportunities with new logo accounts. You will utilize your consultative sales skills to navigate clients through the technical sales process, working with your own engineering teams, inside sales and leadership teams to achieve an excellent outcome. Role Responsibilities: Access new opportunities and drive prospecting for new leads throughout the UK. Expertly lead and manage the sales cycle for prospects within the UK; follow up leads, call on prospects per business plans, create and deliver proposal presentations, and work closely with prospects until contract is closed. Work closely with fellow directors to constantly evolve the business sales strategy and act on any new opportunities. Critical skill in closing deals – the ability to work rapidly through a sales cycle, striking the delicate balance between not pushing too hard, but not losing urgency in deal execution. Required qualities: Minimum 10 years experience selling e-commerce/retail software solutions Proven network of industry contacts and experience Experience in selling SaaS products in a retail environment to large scale clients Willingness to travel across the UK
