Financial and Strategy Risk Senior Manager
Location: Bradford or London
We are happy for you to be based in Bradford or London, but please note that occasional travel will be required to our other offices.
Working Pattern: Our working style is hybrid, but we recognise the importance of collaborative working with our colleagues often 1 day per week in one of our offices.

You and Your Team:
As a Financial and Strategy Risk Manager, you will be reporting to the Head of Prudential Risk. Responsible for providing second line review, challenge, and support of the Group's financial reporting, strategy, and financial plan.
A subject matter expert in your area, you will support the wider Risk team with compliance knowledge as well as ensuring that the first line implements and complies with regulatory and statutory requirements and meets the Group's strategic goals.
In your day-to-day role, as a Financial and Strategy Risk Senior Manager you will:
* Provide second line challenge of key financial reports and regulatory documentation, including full year, half year and quarterly updates.
* Support exercises to stress test the business models using a range of scenarios, including major regulatory deliverables such as the ICAAP and Recovery Plan.
* Support the setting of risk appetite statements, measures and thresholds.
* Ensure that the Group meets current and future regulatory and statutory rules and legislation.
* Support the ongoing development of the risk management framework.
* Provide appropriate technical and professional expertise in respect of financial and strategic risk management.
* Support the Group's policies in respect of financial and strategic risk matters to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements and good market practice.
What will make you stand out?
* Experience of working in a regulated environment.
* Highly numerate and attention to detail.
* Good knowledge of the markets and products in which the Group operates, combined with commercial acumen.
* Ability to direct, persuade, and influence others.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills that enable complex themes and concepts to be understood by people who may have limited subject matter expertise.
* Good time management skills.
* Accounting or Treasury qualification is preferred but is not essential.
The interview process:
* Up to 30-minute telephone call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team.
* Up to 1-hour competency-based interview with the hiring manager.
* Final interview with hiring team.
