Do you have experiece supporting students with visual and/or hearing impairments?
I am looking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Sensory Support Specialist.
The role
1. You would be working alongside children who have been diagnosed with visual, hearing or multi-sensory impairment
2. You will need to have had experience of collabratively working with a range of professionals and agencies
3. Experience of producing specialist resources for children with sensory impairment and other SEND
4. Ideally you will have both or either a qualification in Braille or British Sign Language (Level 2)
Requirements
5. DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase
6. Supporting children in learning Braille, Touch Typiing and how to use their assistive technology
7. Setting up of VI/HI equipment
8. Qulification in Braille or British Sign Language - Level 2 or above
9. Able to work full time until Monday to Friday or Part time across 5 days

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
