Maintenance Engineer, Electrically biased, Wellingborough £48,150 – £50,875
Shifts: Sunday – Thursday 10pm – 6am
Maintenance Engineer with strong electrical knowledge is required to join a dynamic company based in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to make a difference.
The Maintenance Engineer’s role will involve:
1. Carrying out reactive maintenance (respond to breakdowns) both electrical and mechanical across the site whilst ensuring all the company procedures and standards are followed.
2. The Maintenance Engineer will work from a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) in close collaboration with Production and Engineering to maximise machine efficiency and minimise both machinery breakdowns and production disturbances.
3. Knowledge of carrying out Risk Assessments, Permit to Work, Root Cause Analysis, and Pneumatics fault finding on PLCs.
4. LOTO knowledge (Lock Out, Tag Out).
5. A high standard of electrical and mechanical knowledge will be required (electrically qualified is a must).
The successful maintenance engineer will be electrically biased with an apprenticeship, City & Guilds, NVQ, HNC, HND, ONC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering and experience of working in a manufacturing environment.
Position commutable from: Corby, Kettering, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bedford.
