Role:
* Conduct internal and external movement screenings, ensuring scientific validity and ethical approval.
* Identify suitable participants, conduct screenings, and obtain informed consent.
* Process and analyse biomechanical and physiological data using statistical tools and software.
* Investigate movement deficiencies, injury risks, and rehabilitation strategies.
* Test and validate wearable devices and real-time feedback systems for movement analysis.
* Document findings in screening reports and presentations for key stakeholders.
* Work with the internal and wider Movetru team to enhance movement research.
* Translate findings into practical recommendations for training, injury prevention, and movement efficiency.
Profile:
* Education: BSc in Sports Science or relevant subject area
* Desired professional accreditation: BASES or other relevant professional certification
* Expertise in biomechanics, kinesiology, and movement analysis
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Minimum 2 years professional experience
* Background in research methodologies and experimental design
* Experience in data processing, statistical analysis, and interpretation
* Knowledge of injury mitigation, rehabilitation, and performance optimisation
* Ability to manage participant recruitment and ethical research protocols
* Experience in wearable sensor technology, force analysis, or motion capture
* Collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
* Understanding of athlete monitoring and physiological assessment techniques
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Someone who enjoys working to key deadlines
* Ability to commence on pre-existing work and commence new work packages
* Can speak and write English to a good standard
* Must have a Full UK driving licence
* Must be legally able to work within the UK
Work Location:
* Movetru Innovation Lab based in Belfast City Centre
* National and International travel may be required with this position
* May be required to work evenings and weekends
Part time & Full time options available
Full-time salary: From £26k
Part-time salary: Pro-rata based on agreed hours (minimum 10 hours per week)
