Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services. The Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for:
1. Routine PPM tasks in accordance with the SFG20 framework.
2. Reactive maintenance and electrical repairs or Air conditioning repairs as required.
3. Minor new works and complete required certification as necessary.
4. Attend site meetings or training when required.
5. Be proactive when on site.
6. Willing to undertake other duties in line with contract deliverables.
7. Cooperate with other Mitie disciplines for the provision of multi-discipline services where required.
To be successful for this Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer role you must have:
1. Experience of maintenance, testing and fault finding on a variety of equipment including HVAC systems and lighting is desirable.
2. NVQ level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Small Refrigeration.
3. City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air-conditioning (7189) Level 2 or 3.
4. City & Guilds Refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems (6090) Level 3 only.
5. F-Gas Category 1 (City & Guilds 2079, was 2078 Safe Handling of Refrigerants).
6. Ideally served a recognised trade training scheme.
7. Able to carry tools and equipment by hand up to 20kg.
8. Must be available to join a call out rota.
9. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
