The team We are recruiting for a Programme Director to join our Transformation Management Office; this is a small, high-performing team with responsibility for delivering strategic programmes across ITV. We work with teams from all across ITV, driving the delivery of programmes that are fundamental to enabling us to compete in a highly challenging competitive environment. One of these critical programmes focuses on delivering a set of initiatives to drive simplification and support a reduction in cost. This role will be responsible for managing a significant degree of complexity and range of stakeholders to drive delivery of outcomes across the business. The role will be a part of the Transformation Management Office, which reports directly to the Group CFO/COO. This will provide opportunities to become involved in wider strategically- critical transformation initiatives as part of a growing and highly effective team driving change across ITV. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Develop, implement, and maintain financial databases, systems, and processes to ensure flawless financial reporting and compliance. Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes, providing valuable insights to support our ambitious growth targets. Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, strictly adhering to deadlines and ensuring detailed financial reporting. Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams to successfully implement accounting projects and initiatives. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within a corporate setting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations. Remarkable analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
