Job Description:
The Farmer Facilitator Networks Officer will help nature recover by working to enable farmer cluster facilitators across Berks, Bucks and Oxon to share knowledge, gain skills and develop joint projects.
Job Purpose
This role will work with existing, and potential, Farmer Cluster Facilitators across Berks, Bucks and Oxon. It will identify and address skills gaps in the facilitator's roles, arrange knowledge sharing events for facilitators, and promote cross-cluster projects.
The Farmer Facilitator Networks Officer will guide a panel to deliver small grants to cluster projects following a set of criteria.

Reporting Line
The post holder reports to the Head of Landscape Recovery.

Key Tasks
1. Engaging and working with Farmer Cluster Facilitators to appreciate the support needed to enable cross-cluster knowledge sharing and projects.
2. Using information from facilitators, developing a suite of training opportunities for existing and future cluster facilitators.
3. Researching and suggesting appropriate topics for events relevant to cluster facilitators.
4. Booking venues, speakers and trainers for workshops.
5. Working with cluster facilitators to arrange regular catch ups.
6. Presenting potential funding opportunities to panel for consideration.
7. Administering the 'seed fund' available to cluster facilitators in the Berks, Bucks and Oxon area.
8. Any other duties as delegated by the Line Manager, Director or Chief Executive.
Person Specification
1. Ability to quickly build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
2. Demonstrable ability to organise engaging events or training sessions.
3. Ability to prioritise workloads, manage budgets and meet deadlines.
4. Ability to engage and convey themselves effectively and appropriately, to a broad range of audiences and levels.
5. Knowledge and comprehension of farmer clusters and the work of Farmer Facilitators.
6. Ability and willingness to demonstrate the BBOWT behaviours and values.
7. Current full, UK valid driving licence, or eligible for funding via Access to Work for a support worker driver.
Measurements Of Success
1. Effective representation of BBOWT with cluster facilitators.
2. Positive feedback from training and events organised.
