What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, and inspirational teacher with a passion for languages to lead our Languages Department. The ideal candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher of MFL (including French) with a strong record of delivering successful outcomes at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Possess a clear understanding of effective teaching strategies that support strong student progress.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with experience either leading a languages department or undertaking other relevant leadership roles.
• Have a clear educational vision for the role of languages in the wider school curriculum and the ability to successfully implement that vision.
• Be a motivated and resilient individual who can inspire, support, and challenge both students and staff.
