Working closely with the Service Manager, you will ensure a safe, supportive environment where children can flourish. Our Activity and Intervention services are designed to help young people aged 8-18 overcome social, emotional, and mental health difficulties. Through our 12-week programme, children engage in outdoor and adventurous activities aimed at building self-confidence, trust, and positive relationships with experienced and caring adults. Activities include mountain biking, kayaking, paddleboarding, rock climbing, and much more, taking place in the stunning natural surroundings of North Wales and across our local area. You’ll be working a full-time 9:00am to 5:00pm shift, Monday to Friday, supporting the team in providing therapeutic care and offering young people the tools they need to succeed. This role will also involve 4-5 shifts per month, including overnight stays. Your primary focus will be to provide individualised care to each child, helping them rebuild their lives, while acting as a positive role model and developing strong, trusting relationships. You will work alongside a dedicated team and professionals to deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring every child has the opportunity to heal and grow. What Do We Need from You? We are looking for someone with a minimum of an NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare and at least 1 year of experience working in a residential childcare setting at a Senior level. Health and Social Care qualifications will unfortunately not be considered.
