Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Support Worker at Safe Roots Housing CIC in Nottingham. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing direction, guidance, and support to service users, assisting them with securing appropriate accommodation, gaining independent living skills, and accessing education and employment opportunities.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Empathy and understanding towards individuals facing complex needs
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
* Experience in social work, support services, or a related field
* Knowledge of housing services and community resources
* Previous experience working with marginalized populations
* Understanding of substance misuse, mental health, and criminal justice system involvement
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care, criminal justice, or related field is a plus
