Planner
Derby – Hybrid working
Civil Engineering / Energy
Are you a construction Planner with an Engineering background looking for a new opportunity? Or an Engineer / Agent / Project Manager looking for an opportunity to move into pre-construction? If so, this opportunity could be for you.
I am currently recruiting a planner to join a main contractor, working on their energy side of the business working large infrastructure schemes between £10m and £350m in value.
The business genuinely cares for their staff and their well-being as well as offering excellent work-life balance, championing hybrid working. They are not ‘clock watchers’ and expect their staff to manage their own workload, only attending site or the head office when necessary.
This part of the business is bringing a quarter of the businesses turnover this year, with a busy orderbook for the next 18-24 months. The business has over 100 years’ trading history, working on a variety of construction sectors including civil engineering, energy, defence and rail.
What are they looking for?
•2-3 years planning experience
•NEC knowledge
•Desirable experience working on National Grid projects
•Willing to travel on national basis
On offer:
•Competitive Salary D.O.E
•Car / car allowance
•Fuel card
•Pension Contribution
•Healthcare
•Hybrid / flexible working
•Generous Holiday Allowance (increasing in line with service)
•Ongoing training and development
