The Role: The Programme Delivery consultant (PMO) will provide project management expertise to our clients and Consulting project teams, manage active engagements and client accounts, and help to develop new business. As well as having excellent delivery skills, this role requires someone ambitious, innovative, hard working and commercially minded. They will play a key role in the delivery of significant growth plans for Programme Delivery as a core area of Altus Consulting over the next few years.
Responsibilities:
* To deliver client engagements:
o Deliver consultancy engagements for Altus’s top-tier FS customers, providing project management / PMO expertise
o Work as part of a team or independently engaging with senior clients
o Utilisation expectation is >75%
* To own and manage client accounts where associates are deployed
o Undertake regular service reviews and production of dashboards to the client
o Manage and support deployed associates, using Altus’s APEX Programme Delivery framework
* To develop Programme Delivery strategy, proposition and service offerings
o To be part of a collaborative Programme Delivery team, innovating and supporting the delivery of strategic objectives
o To contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the APEX delivery methodology and artefacts
o Contribute to marketing activity generating thought leadership and propositional collateral
* To support the development of new business
o Identify business development opportunities through existing accounts, consulting engagements and own network
o Shape proposals and bids based upon Altus’s Programme Delivery Services and Consulting industry models / toolkit
o Produce thought leadership and appear in the press
* To develop the Altus Associate network
o Identify, validate credibility, build relationships with, and refer potential associates
o Contribute to and maintain the associate register
Requirements:
* Circa 5-10 years hands-on and proven experience of delivering change in Financial Services.
* A solid understanding of, and track-record in, the financial services industry.
* Proficiency in change delivery methodology and practice.
* Experience and solid understanding of Financial Services business & IT operations and change delivery.
* Extremely thorough, inquisitive and hard working behaviours.
* Excellent people and communication skills, able to confidently converse at Board level, with a track record of building strong business relationships.
* Innovative and with a strong ability to articulate ideas, bringing them to life visually and presenting them formally to clients.
* Understanding of IT fundamentals and different categories of FS systems.
* Genuine passion and enthusiasm to make a difference for Altus, and to grow and develop Programme Delivery.
* A history of building strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
* A willingness to travel and undertake varying roles.
